I recently had the opportunity to stay at a charming hotel tucked away in the beautiful mountainous region. The hotel's location was ideal for those looking to explore some of the famous Tour de France cols, such as Glandon, Croix de Fer, Madeleine, Telegraphe, and Galibier. Its proximity to these cycling routes made it the perfect choice for a cycling holiday.
All in all, my experience at this hotel was very pleasant, and I have no major complaints to mention. The only small improvement I would suggest is to ensure that the prices are aligned with the overall quality and offerings of the hotel.

I absolutely got great value for my money at Hotel De L'Europe. The room was spacious and comfortable, with excellent air conditioning and blackout blinds for a good night's sleep. The location was perfect for exploring the iconic cycling routes nearby, and the staff, especially the chef, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable, helping with bike issues and providing vegan options for dinner.
The only thing that could have made breakfast better would be more variety in the selection of items offered.

Great location near popular tourist attractions, and plenty of amenities nearby. Loved the comfortable beds and clean rooms. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the service was pretty decent.
The decor is outdated, and the rooms are small. The noise from outside was quite disturbing and kept us up all night.

We had a great stay at the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing vegan options for dinner and lending a hand with bike equipment issues. The location was perfect for cycling enthusiasts, with many TdF cols within a 10-15 minute bike ride. The rooms were comfortable, with great air conditioning and blackout blinds, and there were decent washing and drying facilities for cycle gear. The hotel was well-located, with free parking and easy access to shops and restaurants.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.
